Screenplay 1.1 Submitted to Apple’s Review

The next version of Black Mana Studios’ iPhone screenwriting application was submitted to Apple’s review. Version 1.1 was written from scratch with stability and performance in mind, even on older iPhone models.

Among it’s many new features, version 1.1 supports:

  • Cut/Copy/Paste
  • Magnifying glass
  • Completely new interface – Introducing the Slider navigator
  • Online Screenplay storage
  • Import and Export of FDX and TXT files

    • Please keep in mind that it may take up to two weeks for Apple to review an app.

    Black Mana Studios will be releasing Screenplay version 1.1 to Apple’s review on September 30th, 2009. The upgrade is completely free of charge to clients who bought the current version (1.0). Please be aware that Apple’s review period may take anywhere between one week to one month, and we have absolutely no control over this process or its length.

    Version 1.1 full details will be released closer to launch date.

    Less than a week since launch, Screenplay jumped into the top 50 paid productivity apps.

    We are working hard on the next version that will address, first and foremost, the slow typing speed and the crashing that is observed on older iPhone models (iPhone 3Gs is not affected). It will also include support for Cut/Copy/Paste, Magnifying glass and Spellchecker.
