iPad version?

Hello!

I wanted to check in on the status of the ipad version of the app. I saw earlier up that you guys were hoping to have one at launch but I don't see it in the app store. Do you have a rough estimate of when the ipad version will be ready to download?

I can't wait to download it!!

We are still working on the iPad version. Initially we thought about simply converting the iPhone app to iPad, but then we made a decision to make a completely new, innovative and feature-rich product that requires a longer development period.

How many books are available for the iPad and will be available? I am planning on buying an iPad and I am really looking forward to the iBooks feature. I was wondering what the amount of titles are available for the ipad currently and how many books will be available probably later in the year. Oh, and I was also wondering what publishing companies will add their titles in the future to the ipad. Thanks!

Am very much looking forward to this. Just chipping in, since it's been a while since "soon." Plan to move my whole workflow over to iPad when possible.

We are working solely on the iPad version. It will contain many improvements and additions. We don't want to simply come out with a Screenplay on a bigger screen, we think our users (and the iPad) deserves more than that.

I was about to buy a new mac laptop to satisfy my on-the-go screenwriting needs...but before that was even a consideration I thought the iPad would be the perfect device to add to my stable. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a screenwriting app for it, nor did I think one would become available.

Fast forward to about fifteen minutes ago. I was poking around the Final Draft web page, and discovered a section on Black Mana. I was directed to this site, and found, lo and behold, an iPhone screenwriting app. Further digging brought me to this thread.

So, preamble out of the way, I was literally about 12 hours from picking up a new Macbook Pro. Now, I'm putting serious thought into revising that move, and going back to my original plan: mobile screenwriting on the iPad.

That'd be totally fantastic, but I'm wondering, is this app still slated for a "soon" release? Has it been bumped up to "any day now?"

...sorry, don't mean to be "that guy in the forum." I just gots to know, man.

We will be releasing Screenplay for iPad within the next 4 weeks (please keep in mind that Apple approval may take anywhere between 1 to 2 weeks).
